Soso Rungqu, born on May 24, 1983 in London, England, is a renowned TV actress known for her star role as welder Morongwa Kau on the South African soap opera Isidingo. She has also showcased her talent on other series such as Mzansi Love, Scandal! and Rhythm City.
Prior to her fame, Soso attended Clarendon Girls High School in 2001 and later pursued studies in musical theater at the Tshwane University of Technology.
In addition to her screen work, Soso lent her voice to the character Smartycat on the children’s animated show Cool Catz from 2008 to 2010. She also cherishes being a mother to her son.
