Sophie Elgort (born February 7, 1986) is a fashion photographer from New York City, New York. She is known for her work in the fashion industry and is the sister of actor Ansel Elgort and daughter of renowned photographer Arthur Elgort.
Elgort started a blog called Sundays with Soph and co-created a style column for The Financial Times called Suits and the City. Growing up around her father’s photography sets, she developed an interest in photography that later became her career. She graduated from Brown University with a BA in Comparative Literature.
Elgort’s work has appeared in publications such as Glamour, Paper, Surface, Teen Vogue, Tatler, Elle, Visual Tales, and The Financial Times. Her advertising clients include Clinique,Etienne Aigner,Botkier,Tamara Mellon,ADEAM,Bloomingdales,Topshop,Theory,Rent the Runwayand Buccellati among others.
She has another sibling named Warren and is married to private equity investor Eric Von Stroh.
