About Sophie Aldred
Sophie Aldred is an English actress born on August 20, 1962 in England. She is best known for her role as Ace in the television series Doctor Who during the late 1980s. Apart from this, she has also lent her voice to characters in programs such as Dennis & Gnasher and Bob the Builder.
Before beginning her acting career, she was a part of the church choir at St. James’ Kidbrooke and later pursued drama studies at the University of Manchester.
In addition to her work in television, Aldred authored a book titled “Ace, The Inside Story of the End of an Era” in 1996.
She married fellow actor Victor Henderson in 1997 and they have two sons named Adam and William.
