Soo-hyun Hong was born on February 15, 1981 in South Korea. She is a renowned TV actress known for her work across South Korean television and film. Her notable roles include Suk-yeong in the 2006 KBS1 historical drama Dae Jo Yeong and Princess Kyunghye in the 2011 KBS2 TV series The Princess’ Man.
Prior to her acting career, she started as a magazine model during high school before transitioning to acting in 1999. Hong has received critical acclaim for her performances and won the 2013 MBC Drama Award for Actress in a Serial Drama for her role in the MBC TV drama Give Love Away. Furthermore, she starred as Kang Sun-ah on the SBS TV series Goodbye Dear Wife.
