About Sonjia Williams
Sonjia Williams is a fashion designer known for her appearance on the 10th season of Lifetime’s Project Runway. Born in Massachusetts on April 27, 1985, Williams attended the fashion design program at Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts before relocating to New York to pursue her dreams.
Williams gained recognition by creating the winning look for Heidi Klum‘s children’s line, Truly Scrumptious, which was ultimately sold at Baby’s-R-Us. She also secured a spot on the runway with her collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
In addition to her Project Runway success, Williams appeared again in 2014 as part of Project Runway All Stars. She won noteworthy challenges and finished as runner-up. Moreover, she launched her own clothing line called Something by Sonjia.
Williams continues to make strides in the fashion industry and remains proud of her Boston roots.
