Sonja Smits (born September 8, 1958) is a Canadian TV actress known for her roles in various television series. She won the Genie Award in 1988 and has appeared in shows such as Falcon Crest, Street Legal, and The Eleventh Hour.
Smits grew up in Ottawa Valley, Ontario and pursued acting at Ryerson Polytechnic Institute before joining the Centre Stage theatre company. In 2009, she was elected as the president of the board of directors of Harbourfront Centre.
She is married to producer Seaton McLean with whom she shares two children.
