Sonja Kristina Linwood, born on April 14, 1949 in England, is a renowned rock singer and musician. She is best known as the vocalist for the progressive band Curved Air, which gained fame with songs like “Back Street Luv.” Prior to her musical career, Sonja studied at the New College of Speech and Drama. Her stage debut took place at the Swan Folk Club in Romford, London when she was just thirteen years old. She comes from an accomplished lineage – her father is a criminologist and her grandmother was the esteemed Swedish actress Gerda Lundequist.
