About Sonia Monroy
Sonia Monroy (born October 1, 1972) is a Spanish film and television actress best known for her roles in My Hollywood Dream Sucks, Less than a Whisper, and Serie B. She is also the CEO of the production company Monroy’s Films.
Monroy began her acting career at the age of six with a role in the opera Madame Butterfly. She later gained recognition for her performance in the comedy series Forca Barca.
In 2003, she founded the band Sex Bomb and released an album titled Ven. Monroy comes from an artistic family—her mother, Virtudes Casals, was an actress while her father, Perfecto Monroy, was both an actor and an opera singer. She grew up in Spain alongside six siblings.
