Sonal Kwatra Paladini, born on June 13, 1984 in India, is a well-known travel writer and blogger. She is best known for her work on the popular blog Drifter Planet, where she shares her global adventures and experiences at international music festivals with a dedicated following. Sonal fell in love with traveling during her first visit to Goa in 2004 and has since made it her life’s mission to explore the world. In 2016, she took an indefinite hiatus from her job to pursue full-time travel alongside her husband.

Prior to delving into travel writing and blogging, Sonal worked in human resources for Simplion Technologies and was also a manager of Talent Transformation for RateGain. She met her husband Sandro while attending the Experience music festival in Thailand, where they later tied the knot in New Delhi.
