Sofia Pernas (born July 31, 1989 in Fes, Morocco) is a Moroccan-born actress and model known for her roles on the long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless as Marisa Sierras starting in 2015. She has also appeared on CBS’s NCIS and began starring in Blood & Treasure in 2019.
Pernas got her start in the entertainment industry when she was approached by a talent agent for modeling. Her acting career began with a role in the 2009 made-for-television movie The Immortal Voyage of Captain Drake as Isabella Drake.
In addition to her native Arabic, Pernas speaks English, Spanish, and German. She was born to a Moroccan mother and Galician father.
She married actor Justin Hartley in May of 2021.
