About Sofia Nino de Rivera
Sofia Nino de Rivera, born on November 23, 1981 in Mexico City, Mexico is a stand-up comedian and actress. She gained recognition for her role as Emilia on the Netflix series Club de Cuervos alongside Luis Gerardo Mendez. In 2016, she was named Mexico City’s woman of the year by Chilango magazine.
Before pursuing a career in comedy, Rivera worked in advertising. Her comedy special Sofia Nino de Rivera: Expuesta was released on Netflix in June 2016.
Rivera comes from a family with her mother Hortensia Mesta Soule and father Luis Nino de Rivera Lajous along with siblings Luis Alberto and Adrian.
