About Sofia Goggia
Sofia Goggia hails from Bergamo, Italy and is an incredible alpine ski racer. She’s no stranger to winning big – she has earned first place finishes in the downhill and Super-G at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, as well as a gold medal in the downhill event at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Pretty impressive considering that only four years prior she was named to the Italian womens team for the 2013 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships with just four World Cup starts in giant slalom! Her parents are Ezio and Giuliana Goggia and her success has put her ahead of skiers like Lindsey Vonn.
