About Skye Daru
Skye Daru, born on August 6, 1998 in Phoenix, Arizona, is a pop singer and former Ford model. Her first electro pop EP was released on iTunes in August 2015.
She began her modeling career at the age of 6 and later signed with Ford Models in Chicago while still in high school. At 16, she moved to the larger Ford Models New York. In addition to modeling, Skye showed early interest in music and played piano and drums.
A pivotal moment came when she performed Leona Lewis‘s “Bleeding Love” at a fifth grade talent show, igniting her passion for singing. Despite frequent travel for photoshoots affecting her school attendance, Skye maintained good academic standing and excelled academically.
Of Filipino, Indian, and Persian descent, Skye grew up in Chicago with her parents and brother Hunter.
