About Simone Missick
Simone Missick is a well-known television actress. She got her big break when she landed the lead role as Misty Knight on Netflix’s show Luke Cage alongside Mike Colter. Before that, she had guest starred in shows such as Wayward Pines, Scandal and Ray Donovan, and even had a role in 2003’s The Epicureans. Her love for acting was sparked during her time at Howard University where she earned an English degree. After graduating, Simone took master classes at British American Drama Academy in England with some famous names like Ben Kingsley, Alan Rickman and Jane Lapotaire. She married Dorian Missick back in 2012.
