Simone Gutierrez, born on August 13, 1976 in Ribeirao Pires, Brazil, is a Brazilian actress known for her work in television. In addition to acting, she is also skilled in dancing, singing and choreography. Her notable roles include playing Lurdinha in the TV series Passione and Ariela Sarmento in Sparkling Girls (2012).
Prior to gaining recognition for her TV work, Gutierrez made her first mark on Broadway as Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables during 2001. She further demonstrated her versatility by taking on the role of Tracy Turnblad in Brazil’s production of Hairspray the Musical.
Her family includes father Francisco Gutierrez and sister Camila.
