Silvia Tcherassi (born August 21, 1965) is a Colombian fashion designer known for her revolutionary work in the Latin American fashion scene. She gained international recognition by showcasing her namesake brand at prestigious fashion weeks in Milan and Paris.
Prior to her success in fashion, Tcherassi began her career as an interior designer but later transitioned to the world of fashion in pursuit of new artistic expression.
Notably, she opened her first luxury hotel under her name in Cartagena, Colombia in October 2009 and launched the Tcherassi Home Collection in March 2011.
Tcherassi was born in Baranquilla, Colombia on the shores of the Caribbean.
