Silvia Abril (born April 10, 1971) is a Spanish TV actress and television presenter. She is best known for her recurring appearances on Homo Zapping and has also starred in feature films such as Spanish Movie, Spy Time, and Three Many Weddings. On television, she has appeared in shows like Las cerezas, Tu cara me suena, and Divendres.
Abril’s career began with an early screen credit in a 1998 episode of Laberint d’ombres. In addition to her acting work, she was a dancer for the Spanish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest titled “Baila el Chiki-chiki” in 2008.
She married comedian Andreu Buenafuente,and they have a daughter named Joana who was born in 2012.
