About Shizuka Kudo
Shizuka Kudo is a Japanese pop singer and actress, born on April 14, 1970 in Japan. She made her debut as #38 in the group Onyanko Club in 1986 and went on to release more than ten solo #1 hits.
Before her rise to fame, she started performing music at the age of fourteen as part of the pop unit Seventeen Club. In addition to her musical career, she provided the voice for Megara in the Japanese version of Disney’s Hercules (1997).
In 2000, Shizuka married Takuya Kimura from the boy band SMAP, with whom she has two children – Kokomi and Mitsuki.
