Shiri Appleby, born on December 7, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, is an American TV actress known for her roles in popular television series such as Roswell and ER. She has also appeared in Girls and began a starring role in Lifetime’s UnREAL in 2015. In 2021, she was featured in the TV series “What Just Happened??!” and “Roswell, New Mexico”.

Appleby started her acting career at the age of four by appearing in commercials for well-known brands like Cheerios and Taco Bell. She had a starring role on the CW series Life Unexpected and learned how to operate a camera on the set of Grown-ish in 2022.

In 2013, she married chef Jon Shook with whom she has two children.
