About Shim Suk-hee
Shim Suk-hee is a South Korean short track speed skater who became famous for her international career. She’s been skating since she was 6 and won gold in the 1000 and 3000 meter races at the 2018 World Championships. In 2014, Shim won a gold medal as part of the South Korean 3000 meter relay team at the Olympics, then took home the overall crown at that year’s World Championships. She also earned back-to-back World Cup titles in 2012 and 2013. Shim has one brother named Shim and competed with fellow skater JR Celski to get medals at the 2014 World Championships.
