About Sheri Holman
Sheri Holman (born June 1, 1966) is an American novelist known for her works A Stolen Tongue and The Dress Lodger. Born in Richmond, Virginia, she spent her formative years in Hanover County and later graduated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in theater before settling in New York City.
Prior to gaining recognition as a novelist, Holman worked at Penguin Books and served as the assistant to a literary agent. Her debut novel, A Stolen Tongue, was published in 1997.
In addition to her writing career, she played a role as one of the founding members of The Moth, which is recognized for its storytelling collective; showcasing yet another aspect of her passion for storytelling beyond traditional literature.
