About Shelomita Diah
Shelomita Diah, born on November 26, 1974 in Jakarta, Indonesia, is a prominent World Music Singer. She rose to fame in the Indonesian pop music scene with hit singles such as “Kekagumanku” and “Indahnya Sepi.” Prior to her success as a solo artist, she worked as a backup singer for popular Indonesian musicians including Slank and Dewa 19.
Her musical journey began at an early age when she started taking private piano lessons at the age of 4. This early passion for music led her to attend a music school from ages 8 to 15.
Beyond her musical career, Shelomita has been recognized for her support of breastfeeding and received awards from the United Nations Children’s Fund for her contributions in this area.
A member of a musically talented family herself, Shelomita is the daughter of renowned singer Marini Soerjosoemarno. In 2000, she married Arya Fajar Faizal Diah.
