Shelley Stevens, born on June 9, 1952 in the United States, is best known as the mother of renowned actress Natalie Portman. Along with being a devoted family member, she has also served as her daughter’s agent and worked as a film producer throughout her time in Hollywood.

Prior to fame, Shelley’s daughter achieved international acclaim for her role in Luc Besson’s film “The Professional” in 1994 and subsequently changed her stage name to Portman to protect their family’s privacy.

Notably, Natalie is Shelley and her husband’s only child. They have been supportive of Natalie’s acting ambitions since she was ten years old. Shelley met her husband while working as a ticket seller at Ohio State University and comes from Jewish-Austrian and Russian ancestry.
