About Sharon Small
Sharon Small is a Scottish television actress born on January 1, 1967. She is best known for her role in the long-running series Inspector Lynley Mysteries, which earned her nominations for a Golden Satellite Award and a TV Choice Award.
Prior to her acting career, Small graduated from the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 1989 and made her on-screen debut in an episode of Taggart as Michelle Gibson five years later. She also won the Best Actress Award at the Edinburgh Film Festival in 1997 for her performance as Terry in Bumping the Odds, marking her film debut.
Small hails from Scotland and is the oldest of five children. She attended high school in Kirkcaldy before pursuing her successful acting career.
