Shari Belafonte, born on September 22, 1954 in New York City, New York, is an American actress and singer. She is the daughter of the renowned singer Harry Belafonte. Shari gained recognition for her role as Julie Gilette on the 1980’s TV series Hotel.
Prior to her acting career, she started out as a model and was featured on numerous covers and commercials for Calvin Klein. In addition to her work in entertainment, she also served as a spokesperson for Slim-Fast in the 1990s.
Shari was married to Robert Harper from 1977 to 1988.
