Shanty Paredes, born on December 30, 1978 in Jakarta, Indonesia, is a notable Indonesian pop singer and actress. She gained recognition as an MTV VJ before launching her music career with the release of her debut album “Shanty” in 2000.
Prior to her rise to fame, Shanty started out as a backup dancer in music videos. She has since appeared in several films including “The Photograph,” “Pursue A Dream,” and “Madame X.”
Her parents are Eddy Heryadie and Ratna Sutama. In 2010, she tied the knot with Sebastian Paredes and they have two sons – Arjuna Lucio (born in 2011) and Enrico Satria (born in 2013).
