Shannon Knapp (born May 29, 1967) is an American entrepreneur and the founder and CEO/President of Invicta Fighting Championships, an all-pro female MMA organization. She made history as the first female executive in the sport of MMA.
Prior to her current role, Shannon Knapp branched off to start her own promotion dedicated to advancing the sport for female athletes in 2012.
Under her leadership, Invicta Fighting Championships entered into a broadcast distribution partnership with UFC, making it the first company ever endorsed by UFC.
Shannon Knapp was born in Fairfax, Missouri and has a daughter.
