Shanice, born Shanice Lorraine Wilson-Knox on May 14, 1973, is a Grammy-nominated R&B singer hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She achieved success in the 1990s with top ten singles such as “I Love Your Smile” and “Saving Forever for You.”
Prior to her rise to fame, she signed her first record contract at the young age of thirteen with A&M Records in 1986. Her debut album was released just a year later.
One of her notable achievements includes her best-selling album Inner Child, which received Gold certification in 1991.
On February 14, 2000, she married actor Flex Alexander. The couple has two children named Imani and Elijah.
