About Shamna Kasim
Shamna Kasim, born on January 23, 1989, in Kerala, India, is an Indian film actress and model. She is known for her performances in various films including Avunu, Seema Tapakai and Chattakkari. Kasim made her debut in the 2004 movie Manju Poloru Penkutty and gained critical acclaim for her lead role as Sri Mahalakshmi in 2007.
Prior to her acting career, she completed a bachelor of arts degree in English through correspondence. Initially aspiring to be a classical dancer, Kasim transitioned into acting after participating in the Amrita TV reality dance competition Super Dancer.
Kasim’s parents are Ramla Beevi and Kassim while she has four siblings named Sheriffa, Shanavas, Shaina and Arifa.
