About Shamea Morton
Shamea Morton, born on May 13, 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia, is a reality star and in-game host for the Atlanta Hawks. She gained national recognition when she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Outside of television, Morton has pursued music and was part of the quartet Co-Ed as well as performing alongside Shamari Fears-Devoe and Keri Hilson.
Morton began showcasing her talents at an early age by singing in her church choir and participating in dance classes. Notably, she served as a cheerleader for both the Atlanta Hawks and Falcons while also dancing for the Georgia Force Arena Football League team. Additionally, she appeared as a dancer in the 2002 film Drumline.
In July 2017, Morton married Gerald Mwangi with whom she had their first child together in 2018.
