About Shagufta Ejaz
Shagufta Ejaz, born on May 5th, 1971 in Gujrat, Pakistan, is a renowned TV actress known for her exceptional performance in the 1990 television serial Aanch. She has captivated audiences with her roles in popular serials such as Wafa Girah, Silsilay, and Bebasi. Additionally, she has showcased her talent in Urdu and Punjabi films including Kalay Chor and Sajawal Daku.
Aside from her acting career, Shagufta Ejaz is also the founder of the Karachi-based salon “Envy.” In 2022, she participated in the Kashee Beauty Salon Bridal Festive fashion showcase.
Prior to entering the world of entertainment, Shagufta had no intentions of pursuing a career in acting. Her entry into acting occurred serendipitously when Kazim Pasha, director of Jangloos noticed her during a visit to PTV headquarters and offered her a leading role.
Shagufta’s outstanding performance in the teledrama Mere Qatil Mere Dildar earned her Best Supporting Actress at the 2013 Hum Awards. Her stardom has gained her over 700,000 followers on Instagram (@shaguftaejazofficial).
In terms of family life, she is married to Yahya Siddiqui and they have four daughters – Haya Ali , Anya Ali , Nabiha Ali , Eeman Ali along with one son
