About Sergei Ustiugov
Sergei Ustiugov (born April 8, 1992) is a Russian cross-country skier known for his prolific career. With over 30 podium finishes, Ustiugov has secured multiple gold medals in World Championship competitions and achieved second place in the overall title in 2017.
Ustiugov made his professional debut at the World Cup in February 2011, competing in the relay event. Notably, he is of Mansi descent, an indigenous people of Russia and Ukraine.
Outside of skiing, Ustiugov has been romantically involved with fellow cross-country skier Elena Soboleva.
