Scha Al-yahya, born on May 30, 1983, in Sungai Petani, Malaysia, is a well-known TV actress. She gained recognition for her role as Dania in the popular Malaysian television series Awan Dania and went on to star in several other Astro RIA network series such as K.I.T.A. Carefree; Kelaaas Kau Maria; and Jodoh.
Prior to her acting career, she worked as an Airasia flight attendant and won a magazine-sponsored Malaysian beauty contest. In addition to her work as an actress, she also modeled for various advertising campaigns including Avon, Bio-Essence and Silky Shine beauty products.
She married model and television personality Awal Ashaari in 2012 and the couple welcomed their daughter Lara Alana two years later.
