Scarlett Santana is a pop singer born on May 31, 1988, in Newark, New Jersey. A multitalented artist with Puerto Rican roots, she excels in various creative fields such as singing, songwriting, rapping, spoken word poetry, dancing, and acting.
Santana burst onto the music scene when she joined the pop group C+C Music Factory for her musical debut. During her time with the group, she contributed to the release of two singles. The first single titled “Live Your Life” was a global sensation and credited as C+C Music Factory presents Scarlett Santana. This chart-topping track was featured on the Bill Coleman Remixxer compilation album which hit the airwaves in early 2010.
She attributes her musical inspiration to her mother who exposed her to a diverse range of genres including soft ballads, disco and vibrant sounds of Fania All Stars Salsa musicians among others.
In August 2012, Santana received the honor of being invited to perform in Washington D.C., contributing to fundraising efforts for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Santana hails from Newark N.J., where she was raised by a single mother of three.
