Satcha Pretto, born on April 5, 1980 in La Paz, Honduras, is a Honduran journalist renowned for her appearances on Anderson Cooper 360 and as the co-host of Univision’s Despierta America. She earned a B.A. in communications from Angelo State University in 2001 before embarking on her successful career. Notably, she has been honored with Honduran Emmy Awards for her contributions to local news.
Pretto grew up in Tegucigalpa alongside her mother, Liz Padilla, and father Rolando Pretto who hails from Panama. In 2013, she married Aaron Butler and together they welcomed their son Bruce Aaron Butler in 2014.
