About Sasha DiGiulian
Sasha DiGiulian is an accomplished rock climber, born on October 23, 1992 in Alexandria, Virginia. She made history by becoming the first American woman to climb a grade 9a (5.14d) route in 2012 and was also the first female to conquer Magic Mushroom on the Eiger’s northern face. Throughout her career, she has secured three U.S. national champion titles and holds the esteemed position of female world champion rock climber.
DiGiulian embarked on her competitive climbing journey at just eight years old and later attended Potomac School in McLean, Virginia. Notably, she held the PanAmerican Champion title undefeated from 2004 to 2010 and boasts an impressive following of over 470,000 individuals on her sashadigiulian Instagram account.
Born to Andrea and John DiGiulian, Sasha faced personal loss when her father passed away on June 29th, 2014. She has a brother named Charlie.
