Sa’Rayah is a soul singer who gained recognition after her appearance on the 11th season of The Voice in 2016. Born on October 11, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois, she developed her passion for singing at an early age through performances at her church and later with the Chicago Catz.
During The Voice blind auditions, Sa’Rayah impressed with her rendition of Ray Charles’ “Drown in My Own Tears.” She has continued to pursue a career as a soul singer following her time on the show.
Aside from her musical endeavors, Sa’Rayah also balances family life. She grew up with an older sister and became a mother to a daughter named Nylah-Sa’Rae in 2014.
