About Sarah Reinertsen
Sarah Reinertsen is an American Paralympian, born on May 22, 1975 in New York. She is known for her achievements as a triathlete and Paralympic track athlete, as well as her appearance on the reality television show The Amazing Race 10 where she finished in 7th place.
Reinertsen began running at the age of 11 and made a name for herself by breaking the 100m world record for female above-knee amputees during her first international track meet. Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards including the prestigious 2004 San Diego Hall of Champions Challenged Athlete Star of the Year award.
During her time on The Amazing Race, Reinertsen competed with her former boyfriend Peter Harsch.
