About Sarah Lombardi
Sarah Lombardi, born on October 15, 1992 in Cologne, Germany, is a German pop singer who gained recognition through her participation in the eighth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar. Despite being eliminated from the top ten, she made a comeback in the show’s ninth season and finished as a runner-up.
Her foray into music began with an audition for the seventh season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar; however, she was ousted during a duet performance with Eugen Flittner. In 2011, Lombardi released her debut solo album Heartbeat which achieved great success by reaching #2 on the German charts.
Lombardi married fellow singer Pietro Lombardi in 2013 and they welcomed their son Alessio two years later. The couple announced their separation in 2016 before she remarried to soccer player Julian Felix Engels.
