About Sarah Brady
Sarah Brady (born November 11, 1991) is a surfer, model, environmental research associate, and community organizer originally from Encinitas, California. She gained notoriety for her past relationship with actor Jonah Hill and for publicly speaking out about what she described as emotionally abusive behavior.
Brady has gained a significant following on social media, amassing over 160,000 followers on her Instagram account where she shares surfing photos and promotes environmentalism.
Prior to her fame, Brady studied cognitive science and sustainability at the University of California, Santa Cruz before earning a bachelor’s degree in anthropology of climate change and human solutions from UC San Diego in March 2021. She later began studying environmental law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu starting in August 2022.
In addition to her academic pursuits and surfing career, Brady became an ambassador for The Changing Tides Foundation in 2018. She also led a hurricane relief project that provided water filters and portable Solar units to residents of the US Virgin Islands affected by Hurricane Irma/Maria.
Brady comes from a family with strong ties to surfing; she has a sister named Claire and is also affiliated with the San Onofre Surfing Club as a third-generation member.
