Sarah Blackwood, born on October 15, 1980, in Burlington, Canada, is a Canadian rock singer known for her stage name Sarah Sin. She is best recognized for joining the indie-rock band Walk off the Earth in 2012.
Prior to her fame with Walk off the Earth, Blackwood had one of her first performances standing in for her pregnant sister Jennifer Blackwood as part of the Psychobilly band The Creepshow when she was 27 years old. Eventually becoming a full-time member of the band.
Blackwood gained recognition through covers like “Somebody That I Used to Know” by Gotye and through collaborations such as featured on Volbeat’s song “Lonesome Rider” from their album Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies.
In her personal life, she shares three sons named Luigi, Romeo and Giogio with her Walk off the Earth colleague Gianni Nicassio
