About Sara Stokes
Sara Stokes, born on June 1, 1977 in Detroit, Michigan, is a reality star known for her appearance on the second series of Making the Band in 2002 as a member of Da Band. She has also gained recognition for her regular appearances on the BET reality series The House of Divas.
Before pursuing her entertainment career, Stokes studied at the Michigan College of Beauty and worked as a makeup artist for It Cosmetics. In addition to her reality television work, she made her acting debut with a small role in the 2002 film 8 Mile featuring Eminem.
Stokes faced personal challenges when she was jailed in 2014 for domestic violence charges against her husband Tony. He filed for divorce two days after her incarceration. Together they have three children named Elijah, Eva, and Gabby.
