About Sara Matos
Sara Matos (born December 20, 1989) is a Portuguese TV actress known for her breakout role as Margarida Bacelar in the 2009 telenovela Morangos com Acucar. Hailing from Lisbon, Portugal, she has since become a regular face on shows like Anjo Meu, Belmonte and O Beijo do Escorpiao.
Prior to her television success, Matos earned a degree in theater from the Cascais Professional Theater School and took part in various acting workshops throughout the early 2000s.
She achieved further recognition by winning the Portuguese spin-off of reality series Dancing with the Stars in 2013. Matos previously dated Morangos com Acucar co-star Lourenco Ortigao before their breakup in 2014.
