Sanjana Modha is a British food writer, recipe creator and Instagram star known for sharing her Indian vegetarian soul food recipes and creatively edited cooking videos. She was born on September 24, 1988, in London, England.
Modha’s Instagram account sanjana.feasts has gained over 240,000 followers due to her captivating photography and styling which has been featured in various cookbooks. In 2021, she won the SHE Awards Outstanding Culinary Skills Category.
Prior to her culinary career, Modha earned a degree in English and worked as an editor at Food Network for eight years. Her passion for food originates from the traditional South Asian dishes her parents made for her during childhood. She started her Instagram account in August 2015 with a post celebrating the Egg-Free French Madeleine recipe that she created.
