About Sandi Morris
Sandi Morris is a pole vaulter who was born on July 8, 1992, in Downers Grove, Illinois. She gained recognition for winning the silver medal in the pole vault event at the 2016 Olympic Games and followed this accomplishment with another silver medal at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics. Morris later achieved gold at the 2018 World Indoor Championships.
Before her professional career, Morris competed as an NCAA Division I pole vaulter for both the North Carolina Tar Heels and Arkansas Razorbacks. Notably, she finished first at the 2010 USATF Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships while representing the Tar Heels.
In addition to her notable achievements, Morris won back-to-back USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in pole vault in 2017-2018 and secured a silver at the USA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Morris hails from Downers Grove, Illinois.
