About San E
San E is a South Korean rapper born on January 23, 1985, in Incheon. He gained popularity as one of the country’s most successful solo hip-hop artists with chart-topping tracks such as “Story Of Someone I Know” and “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness.” Notably, he was the first solo rapper signed by JYP Entertainment.
Prior to his music career, San E moved from South Korea to Atlanta, Georgia during middle school. He later studied graphic design at the University of Georgia.
His 2010 song “Rap Genius” earned him a Korean Music Award for Best Hip-Hop song. San E has a brother named Sean.
