About Samia Akariou
Samia Akariou (born May 28, 1972) is a Moroccan film actress and screenwriter known for her work in successful features such as “Lalla Hoby,” “Ali, Rabiaa et les autres” and “L’homme qui brodait des secrets.” She also directed the 2017 TV-movie “Alati allah.”
Prior to her fame, Akariou graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and Cultural Activities. In 1999, she won a Troia International Film Festival Award for her role in the film “Keid Ensa.”
Akariou married a man named Hicham Tayek.
