Samantha Quek is an English field hockey player, born on October 18, 1988, in Liverpool, England. She is best known for her achievements as an Olympian and her role in the England field hockey team’s victory at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro where they won the gold medal. Prior to this win, she also contributed to her team’s success by securing gold at the European Championship.

Quek graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University before making a name for herself as a prominent athlete. In addition to her sports career, she ventured into entertainment by participating in the British reality show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2016.She has been romantically linked with Tom Mairs and is noted for having a twin brother.
