Samantha Munro, born on October 19, 1990 in Oshawa, Canada, is a TV actress best known for her role as Anya MacPherson on the popular Canadian teen series Degrassi: The Next Generation. She also gained attention for portraying Sarah MacDonald in the 2009 film The Bend and for her recurring role on the television series Wildcard.

Before her television debut, Munro was involved in community theater, participating in productions of The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland at the Oshawa Little Theatre in Ontario, Canada. Her humanitarian work in Ecuador and India has been documented by MTV Canada.
