Samantha de Jong, born on July 28, 1989, in the Netherlands, is a well-known reality star. She gained fame with the nickname “Barbie” after her appearance on the Dutch reality series Oh Oh Cherso. Her popularity led to subsequent appearances on Oh Oh Tirol, Barbie’s bruiloft, and Samantha & Michael Houden Zich Thai.
Before her rise to stardom, De Jong began her presenting career in 2001 with an appearance on RTL Boulevard. She has also released several singles such as “Oh Oh Cherso” (2010) and “Tirol, Let’s Lick!” (2011).
In 2012 she married Michael van der Plas and they had two children together – Milano and Angelina. The couple divorced in 2017.
